Committees & Representatives
A number of committees in the US House of Representatives and Senate are defined as “Key Congressional Committees” by the current National Defense Authorization Act (FY23 NDAA). These committees receive classified briefings and reports relating to UAP that other members of Congress do not. They also tend to draft legislation that is relevant or directly relates to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena.
If any of your House or Senate representatives are on these committees (and especially if they’re the Chair or Ranking Member of the committee or a relevant subcommittee), they (and by extension you) play an outsized role in determining the future of UAP-related legislation and associated declassification efforts.
Please make sure to reach out to them today to let them know that you support the responsible declassification of UAP information, and its release to the American people.
Stay tuned for Congressional UAP Report Cards, which will grade key representatives based on:
- Ongoing efforts they’re putting into declassifying UAP
- Their public voicing of support for declassifying UAP, regardless of where that information leads
- Willingness to publicly and legislatively push back against institutional resistance to declassifying UAP
- A stated commitment to push for the release of the types of information outlined in the Declassify UAP Declassification Targets list
